We fund strategic litigation and interventions in the public interest to support transgender people in the healthcare system.
Thus far we have committed over 100,000 DKK to reducing burdens for access to care, combating illegal administrative practice at CKIs and providing legal advice to system victims.
In Decision 2024-18363, the Danish Patient Complaints Agency (STPK) ruled that capacity challenges at CKI Odense are not a valid legal excuse for failing to assess patients within 30 days. We intend to expand this ruling nationally. We are seeking patients currently waiting at CKI Copenhagen or Sexologisk Center Aalborg to file complaints identical to the one that won in Odense.
On December 10, 2025 in Decision 2024-18363 the Danish Patient Complaints Agency (STPK) upheld our complaint against CKI Odense.
Our benefactor, Lucy S, today committed an additional 60,000 DKK of funding to us. The funding will be used to retain legal counsel and acquire legal advice for challenges against the Danish transgender healthcare monopoly focused on systemic change, in accordance with her wishes.
